Most Acclaimed Shows of the 2003-2004 Season
2003 helped to prove that the sitcom isn't dead, it's just that nobody's watching the good ones. Regardless, this year saw the emergence of the insanely acclaimed new series Arrested Development, easily taking the #1 spot, the discovery of The Office by American viewers (#1 for the 2002-2003 season) and Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm wrapping up another great season. But serialized dramas also had their place among the years best; Alias stands alone at #2, while the final season of Angel fends off Curb and Deadwood taking the #3 position. Overall it was a good year for FOX Broadcasting, as the teen-soap The O.C., the legendary Simpsons and slick newcomer Nip/Tuck also flaunt top 10 appearances. Read on to see if your favorite series made the cut.
